The kid's Collection

Article about: by Bill T Killer GJ cap Stefan! And I really enjoyed the story about the footlocker. I would rather have a special item like that than a high dollar item without any known history behind it!

I just noticed you're seventeen, that's a great collection to have so young -

Re-posted the pics - same as I did first time around -
I think you will have to inquire with the RSM as to a private visit to the museum - it is not open to the public.
Hence my being able to go through their collection.

Here is a pic from a movie rental armory in BC -

Ok thanks will definitely look into it, that gun looks quite fearsome in your hands. Thanks for the compliment about the age the only bad thing about being so young in this hobby is the limited funds, but it still makes it fun trying to look for bargains!

    All the best,
    Stefan

It's a Yugo rework of an MP44 - postwar green phosphate finish - Falcon bought three of them and said there was a crate to choose from.

I was an army cadet in the UK at 14 and for three years stole everything they issued me, or that I could possibly get away with, I should have gone to prison, but instead that was the start of my militaria collecting - I still have a para smock I traded from back then.

Starting out you have less money - spend it on reference books, it will save you money when you have the readies to drop on bigger purchases. Internet is OK for a quick check up, but books will go into detail, and you don't get distracted after the first three paragraphs.
The internet is also full of wholly unverifiable experts - sure - there are mistakes in books, but on the whole there is solid due diligence performed, and you're a lot safer.

    Advice over...

    Good luck,

    Pit.
