Looking for following WWII German items:
    - anything dealing with Allenstein (Olsztyn) and Wehrkreis I in East Prussia,
    - entrenching tool carrier (straight and folding),

Top notch, a collection worthy of a museum for sure. How do you "hide" this, keep the door locked? ;-)

Yes, I do keep the door locked - from my kids :-)

Quite understandable. I keep my stuff from prying eyes as well. Showed the collection to my 28 yr old daughter a couple years ago (she understands better than my wife does because she grew up with me collecting, going to shows, etc), and her eyes about popped out. I think it's better to keep this stuff from view of the casual visitor. It's my private space, but sadly I don't show anyone, and can't share when something comes in the mail, but that's just how it is.

To be honest, my wife doesn't care and I don't show it to anybody other than my brother in law (coin collector) and my dad.

You have an amazing collection, I can only imagine it took a long time, and maybe you started when collecting was a little easier? At any rate, true dedication!
