Itís hard to make one sword that will be equally appealing for both cutting and thrusting. Thus many military designs were quickly turned on by users. The saber is a cutting sword. The bow of the blade doesnít lend itself to a thrust. And too often the lessened hilt and grip also discourages setting the hand up for a thrust.

Marvelous collection of swords there, but im afraid i wouldnt put them up in the bedroom, you only need to say the wrong word one night and the missus could have a nice selection to choose from, does the name Bobbit ring any bells?
