Courage the greater as our strength faileth.

Thanks Steve! That would be great!

There is one in particular I would like to find. It is a gilt "FS" cap with the ATS badge supended under it. The same maker used this badge in many forms with different regt/corps badges under it.

    Cheers, Lez.

I have some other sweetheart type items to show. But our camera needs new batteries. I will get Ade to get some new ones this weekend.

    Cheers, Lez.

    Another sweetheart type item.

It is a foil backed picture of the ATS cap badge.

These foil backed pictures were a popular item in the 1940's and the troops used to make them themselves. The foil is stuck to the back of the glass then the other areas are painted out.

    Cheers, Lez.

A less than ideal pic I know. It is hard to photograph due to the reflections in the glass. So you can see my conservatory roof

A large drinks serving tray. The glass has been painted brown to look like a wood grain effect. Again "home made" and not commercially bought.

I can just imagine the girls having tea from this tray sitting in their billet.

    Cheers, Lez.
