My ATS Sweethearts collection

Hi all, I am Ade's wife Lez. I collect too, and specialise in the ATS, the British Auxiliary Territorial Service.

They were the British Womens Army in WW2. I thought that I would show some of my sweetheart broachs etc on the forum. The large embroidered item is a mirror. I will show some more items in the future when I can get Ade off the PC

Some close ups. The silver ones at the bottom left are not really sweethearts, but are special badges issued in 1939. So many girls joined up that they did not have enough uniforms to go around. Instead they got this numbered badge a a special blue armband.

Hello Larrisa,I am Butch from North Carolina. I really like your Sweetheart stuff. I have been collecting Third Reich stuff for years. I started collecting RAF wings recently and then I saw a Sweetheart pin from the RAF. That was it. I own 5 of them so far. I think that they are the neatest little things. They look good in the case beside the RAF Wings. I think that there will be more in the future. All the best to you, Butch
