    Where did you come about this piece and the history? I will be posting a BYF 42 here in a couple of weeks. Sadly it is not a black widow but it does have one of the nicest sets of wood grips I have seen on a luger!

    Hello Killroy, this luger I her bought a gentleman that his father was a military man of the Blue Division who fought in the front of Leningrad.

    The luger in the photos of red bottom has the grips of wood of walnut.
    In the photos with the holster it has the grips of black bakelite, which is the original thing.
