    Sorry James must have missed this thread a very nice display of Brodies/Mk II's indeed Like Jake I love seeing the netted examples the Brit Mk II with the N#1 field dressing and the early woven net is top notch.

    many thanks Jerry and mark for looking over my modest grouping and for your nice comments ive had the netted mk11 in my collection for some years now and initially thought it was in a bit of a state but these days ive come to appreciate its charm a little more the shell has a heavy sand texture and if my memory serves me the previous owner told me it saw action with the kings shropshire light infantry at sword beach
