    Update:

I got all the items this week.

    Mitchell helmet cover on helmet:

Named: Tom Ricketson(If anyone know any info about him, I'd love to hear it).

The cover is on a Post-War Norwegian clone helmet(Combat veteran too).

    The M1 helmet:
To my suprise, it is a Front seam helmet, if I am not mistaken, the greenish color on the liner webbing makes in Post-War?
I might put the liner into a Vietnam shell and get a WWII liner to fit with the Front Seam helmet.

Vegar,The belt is not 'Nam era. Looks like a LC-1 belt like it is tagged. 'Nam belts have center eyelets for length adjustment. Rich A. in Pa.

Thanks for that Ray, it was listed as a "ORIGINAL US ARMY VIETNAM WAR M1923 LOOP BELT".
Were these used in Vietnam at all? I see it was introduced in early 1973.

    Nice collection you have there.
Your M1 helmet above does have a ww2 liner, the W mark stands for Westinghouse who as far as I am aware stopped production in august 1945. It may have been relined for the Korean war ,I don,t know why it has those extra holes in the strap where the sweat band would sit.

I am wondering the exact same thing, I am thinking it was used for a lot more than combat, especially after the war. A part of the webbing has been repaired with fishing line!

Thanks for all the comments guys

Vegar,I doubt it. You got it from e-bay? Hope it was cheap. Next time do a bit of research or buy from someone you trust. It may save you money and room.Rich A. in Pa.
