I would feel lucky to find such piece as well. These are definitely the most tough ones to find and it is a looong time since I saw a good one.
I would love to have one like this --- especially a snow/winter camo
Løkken is a nice area, I used to live in Nordjylland not that far from that location. I am sure it must have been quite many years since you bought that M42 camo for 50 dkk. Any chance you have posted it here on the forum? Last time I saw a helmet in a local antique shop it was priced 2000 dkk and it was a rusty piece with a liner in very poor condition.
Jeg kjøpte en nydelig normandie camo m42 fra Løkken antik for 50dkr for mange år siden. Det er kanskje mer den veien hvis du holder øynene oppe.
Thanks for all the positive comments, wish you all a nice weekend,

Most of my collection was stolen by a socalled "good friend". If not i would have sold the camo helmet to you for a nice price so you could complete your setup.
It was in 97 or 98 i was in løkken i believe.
Collect ROA, Cossack, Schuma and other WW2 Volunteer militaria.

That sounds frustrating but it is not the first time I have heard such story : /
I would without doubt be pleased of getting such a helmet back to DK but I am lucky to have four camo helmets in my collection which can be put into the "Normandy category". Camo helmets are without doubt my main focus area. Thereafter comes gas masks and MG tins.
Below is a picture of my complete Normandy display with a mix of helmets, gas masks and ammo tins.
Quite a bunch of beauties nice collection and examples of them. timothy
