Some shots of my favorite item of my entire collection, the prewar-made Wilheim Welhausen pioneer officer's cap with velvet piping, soft leather peak and all-bullion insignia:







Notice that the rings of black velvet piping are all of different widths becoming wider towards the top - I simply love this trait:

Very nice. You can never go wrong in buying quality items.

I advise people this many times. Better to have just a few quality items, than a large collection of indifferent items.
