That display is looking fantastic. Thanks for sharing the process with us. It's the next best thing to making the display myself. I can't wait to see it with the hat and suspenders.

    Hi Nuno.
Just a friendly piece of advice, take it or leave it.
The ammo pouches illustrated are late pattern, (identified by the "pull-tabs" as opposed to the "press-stud" fastening) and would probably NOT have been used in the jungle and the respirator would not have been carried.

A good book to get if you can get a copy is:

Khaki Drill and Jungle Green: British Tropical Uniforms 1939-45 In Colour Photographs

Written by: Martin J Brayley & Richard Ingram

Published by: Crowood Press (The Crowood Press)

    ISBN: 978 1 84797 109 8

My copy cost me 19:95 GBP earlier this year.

Hope that this of some help and carry on with the good work.

    Regards etc

Hi Nuno, you're getting there mate.

    Just an observation mate.
The web braces should be crossed at the back, in a similar manner to US ones, ie, right front up and over to left rear belt buckle and left front up and over to right rear belt buckle.
As a general rule LONG trousers would be worn when on operations with boots and, dependant on nationality, Ankle gaiters, cloth puttees, or the Australian/NZ version of the US web gaiters.

Hope this is of some help mate. Keep up the good work.

    Regards etc
