My Small Collection of Artillery Related Items.
Since my main method of collecting is to collect items that would, or could, have been worn, or earned by the family members that I have period photos of in military uniforms.
I have posted my Luft. Flak display and my Panzer display.
Since my Opa was a member of the Artillery and I have a couple photos of him in uniform, I do have a small shelf devoted to that branch.
Here is one photo of my Opa. When I first posted this on WAF a long time ago, one comment was that he was assigned to the V1 rocket program. However, I found out that that is incorrect. His shoulder boards, although they show V1, indicate that he was actually assigned with the Kriegs-Karten- und Vermessungsamt, (War mapping and surveying) for the Artillery. I was told a long tome ago that he was involved with the big guns that fired across the channel. This would fit as these were army level units that required the services of mapping and survey as well as observation (for counter battery fire) troops.
Ralph.
Here is my small display for that branch.
The Stug tabs are not original, they were made by me.
If anybody wishes to see anything up close and personal, let me know and I will take some photos.

Hi Chris,
It is a war time bandage to be carried in the inside pocket of the tunic.
I had a few and needed somewhere to display them so they are dispersed throughout my displays.
Ralph.
Ahh, thank you for the answer Ralph.
