Re: My Small collection finally together
Thanks guys
Vegas is right, it's the outer shell to a 1915 disc grenade. One day I will sit down and mock up the internals.
I might snap off afew pics of the other shelves in a sec once I get out of bed, I reckon I have the glass cabinet layout right finally

Re: My Small collection finally together
Wow, I'd never heard of a disc grenade until now.

Me neither, Glenn. What a weird invention...a grenade that you basically had to throw like a Frisbee! Interesting!

Let's just hope it doesn't come back and blow up in your face
Also Volksjager, what is that battledamaged helmet in the last picture?

Vegar, Its a Japanese Type 90. There is now liner but evidence on blood damage to the inside. The other interesting thing about it, the bullet came from inside out
