Oh, you'll find one some day, i got that one for about 10 pounds at a used and antiques shop, the mother of a very famous Norwegian handball player owned it, she used it as a flower pot.

Yeah, well, artillery shells are the mostly used things by civilians, they can be used as flower pots, umbrella holder, it can be cut down to be a ashtray etc.

My latest addition is this 37 pattern webbing holster, belt and ammo pouch. The holster is dated 1943, the ammo pouch 1940. The webbing, originally khaki, has been blancoed a green color. Designed for the Webley and Enfield .38s of the period, it also can take the S&W .38s supplied by the US, as shown by my own deactivated S&W. This was the basic British Army officers' belt order.

My latest purchases, a set of British WWII medals; The Africa Star, the 1939 - 1945 Defense Medal and 1939 - 1945 Medal. Bought together but I don't know whether they were issued to the same soldier.

Small US Marine Corps cap badge, it has two pins in the back, don't know whether it is WWII or post war.

Update: my latest items for my collection.
I have added a France and Germany Star and a 1939 - 1945 Star, with damaged ribbon. Though not WWII, I couldn't resist this WWI service medal. It has the owners name on the rim; S-218853 Pte J.M. Whyte, ASC, who served with the Army Supply Corps. Finally, I bought this nice late war Heer buckle.
