Tan ammo case cleaned up nice. I quite like the small display. Nice touch with the ammo links.

Tan camo was very common on the Ostfront / Italy / Normandy including the Nordostfront so desert camo is probably not an accurate way to describe it.

I like it i think it will clean up very well.

Thank you Paul for the useful information!

The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )

    1st July 1916

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

The top Waffenschein is a weapons permit, stating that it is only valid when wearing a Party Uniform, and the bottom paper is an advertisement to join the Nazi Social Welfare Organisation NSV...

The top item is a gymnastics club membership card...then some type of receipt I can't quite make out, though it's stamped by the local police...third we have a voucher for food from the Winter Relief...Then we have a page taken out of a Postal Savings Booklet...second to last we have an employment insurance receipt card...and last we have a document for unemployed metal-workers, probably related to unemployment assistance...Hope I was able to help a bit!
    cheers, Glenn
