In Narva is difficult to find good/nice helmets beacause the good ones have already been dug up.
Still plenty of good ones to be found in the Auwere !!
The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )

My new rare item was found in the Estland WWII Walther P38 magazine,This magazine was produced by the Erste Nordbohmische MetallFabrik produced Magazines (ENM) as immediately can be seen from the rectangular welding spots. The left side of the housing is stamped with jvd and P38. Two stamps can be found on the spine: E/WaA706 above jvd. jvd is the secret manufacturer code assigned to ENM. E/WaA706 is the ENM inspection stamp. This magazine variation was only issued with Spreewerk and Mauser pistols from 1944.

    In my experience, yes.
I've found helmets in that condition and some of the thin 'flakey' metal round the hole is mostly wafer-thin and will crumble to the touch.

Battelefield finds very bad condition, helmet is strong but 12 cm case is very very weak.
