Very nice book about the battle for Narvik in Norway. The book contains many great photos of Kriegsmarine, Fallschirmjaeger (Paratrooper), Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe and Gebirgsjaeger (Mountain Troops). There are quite a few shots of General Dietl and other Wehrmacht leaders. There’s also a great full color paratrooper photo.
Written by Gerd Böttger. Published by Stalling Oldenbrug / Berlin and dated 1943. German text.
Hardcover. 151 pages. 127 rare B&W photos. 1 page map of Narvik area. Approximate book size 7.75 x 10.5 inches.
