Nuremberg Tribunal Ash Tray

Hi,

I recently bought this ashtray off of a gentleman whose father and uncle were at the Nuremberg trials (His father was an interpreter). They brought home this ashtray from the trials. There seem to be very few of them, the only two I could find that match are in museums, here's the links....

ashtray from Nuremberg (EPH 9053)

The one I have is super heavy (I was told they were most likely made out of recycled truck bumpers). I attached some pictures of what I have. The inside seems to have remnants of some red paint. I guess I am looking for history and value or how to find someone who knows more about them.

Very cool items from Nuremburg are very hard to find this is the first one like it, as for value I would think it would really depend on the buyer, Do you have any other Nuremburg related items.

If I remember correctly ,they were not use for the trials .
But sold after has tourist souvenirs.
