My old Italian army cam jacket bought in 1980 from a surplus store-now in 'relic' condition as I wore it in the field and out and about for many years-the brown is very reddish on this example but another bloke in the platoon had a set of both jacket and trousers where it was a more milk chocolate colour-the trousers were kept up by integral suspenders and both the jacket and trousers had rubber padding at the knees and elbows-a very good idea well ahead of its time-some jackets had the Italian army star on the lapels-at the time by far the most common cam uniforms in the stores.

    Gday mate,
I once had one of these and a set of matching trousers.Mine had the stars. The mother of all cam patterns.
What's the condition of the material like?I remember the material in my two garments rotting away to powder, would just crumble away if you touched it.
Binned years ago but like all things disgarded I wish I still had them.
    Cheers Lithgow

Do you have any CADPAT you could post?Like the Temperate pattern (two greens, brown and black).
A very effective pattern and the father of USMC MARPAT I believe.
    Good on ya Mark.
