Thanks Rene for the info on the skrim cracking example just like adding the extra options to a new car I have some pretty plane jane Lids and it has always amazed me what a piece of skrim or camo cover can do to bring a helmet to life.
Ralf if its ok with you I would like to run the images of the CADPAT tags on a camo forum I belong to see what kind of information is out there on the X numbers.

Ralph a quick internet search of the Consoltex home page has revealed that they have( developed and produced fabrics that meet the requirements of the three types of CADPAT currently in use by the Canadian Armed Forces, Arid Regions,Temperate Woodland,Winter/Arctic.)
I shall see what else I can dig up on the X factor.

I have had these since shortly after they were introduced. I was told that the "X" represents the first 1000 experimental sets.

    Most excellent Ralph.
A lovely addition to any cam collection mate.
Hard to find CADPAT at the best of times so your "X" garments are something special.
    Thanks for posting them.
