    Hi all
Here's my Swiss Leibermuster M70 parka with face veil, issued and worn condition, dated 71' and trousers in unissued condition, dated 72' (not sure if repro though!!??? as braces were missing, they have a strange "loop" where a draw tie would usually be!!??? and they also look very different to yours Opex!! Lack of leg ties and pockets!!)

Austro, the trousers are the last issue TAZ-83 model, very good quality and hard-wearing for such thin poly/cotton, I have a set of this model ,thanks for sharing some of your camo with us

No worries, and yes snow camo would have made an excellent combination...I can relate to how you feel about the cold stuff, as we mainly have rain on this side of the water, and I assure you I can get equally and totally hacked off with the cold/grey/wet weather!!!!

On a side note I keep thinking about taking some pictures of various camo patterns, in the woodland around my property, just to do some fun experiments on what pattern's are the most effective...perhaps I will find the time, it might be interesting to view here!

Here's an early dpm para smock, circa 1978-79. These were only made in Imperial sizing for about two years before changing to metric and a lot must have been trashed in the Falklands, hence the rarity of Sizes 1, 2 etc. It looks as if this one was returned to store by the first owner, marked with the metric equivalent (170/104 has been handwritten under the label just out of shot) and reissued.

Thanks! BTW if anyone finds it annoying that British military clothing isn't dated, see this thread. Apologies for it being on a different forum but I think warrelics can handle it.

Interesting link and it's good to see the names of the manufacturers, a bloody shame that most of it is made in China now!...

This metric para smock with low contract number 203 is probably from 1979 and no later than 1980:
