New pick up today odd British Desert 4 pocket jacket and trousers , maybe a export item ? the label look the same as in the British army issue items but no maker name
Yep that's got to be export or commercially produced, you never see British issue trousers with US BDM style pleated pockets!...

Good old DPM but Dutch issue kit, strange how the Dutch turn to a British manufacturer when the MOD turned their back on British firms and has kit made in China, funny old world aint it!...

Especially strange as Seyntex were making British windproofs in the mid 90s!

Speaking of pleated pockets on DPM, I picked this zip up jacket up recently but do not recognise it. Does anyone have any ideas? Not the best condition but just interested me. Cheers.

As it is winter I thought that I would show off the jacket that I most often wear during this season. It isn't camo, but it is OD! It is my trusty old US Navy A2 deck jacket. It is dated 1979 and fully lined, in fact it is so warm that I usually get away just wearing a T-shirt underneath it. It was originally issued to a sailor on board the Aggressive class minesweeper USS Gallant. At some point in its life it has had a repair done to the zipper. These jackets are no longer made or issued to the navy and are becoming collector items amongst some folk, though that won't stop me from wearing it.
