Hi fellas, thought this thread needed a refresh, here I have a pair of British DPM P66 trousers and a pair of Austrian K4 Kampfanzug 57 trousers which I took a few shots of, regards Opex

those are a great pair of dotted early dpm trousers. I never see that much dotted 68 dpm, though have grabbed some recently after searching for it.

    Whatever its just an opinion.

DPM 68 Cold Weather Cap, early type with pale green fluffy lining, later issues have a dark green lining, this example dates to about 1981. The later dark green lined type was also introduced in time to be seen on the Falklands. To us camo nuts, note that this appears to have a mix of dotty and non dotty DPM 68 in its manufacture.

Peaked Cap, DPM 68 pattern, also known as the cr#p or c#nt hat.

A lovely pale early dotted DPM 68 pattern example with contract code for the period 1971-1979. It has two names inside the crown.
After much searching I found a picture of one in use by 2 Para on the Falklands, even down to the names of all pictured.

2 PARA, May 27, Camilla Creek House, LtoR, LCpl Pete Carroll, Alan Coulson, Capt David Wood (facing the camera), Hamish McKay and attached as LO RM officer David Constance . Falklands

A much more modern version of the combat smock.

    Attachment 283008

Used to use this smock until I swapped to M84.
A very well thought out and practical garment.
Just got myself one of these too, a superb and well made garment, no maker on it as on earlier made patterns, hope it's not Chinese made as I've read here!
