Rare German Reichsautobahn Plaques, to commemorate the Construction of the Reichsautobahn system.

These are for 1000 Km, 2000 Km and 3000 Km of Construction.

I got the three Plaques mounted and I believe they have come out quite nicely.

I think the black marble shows off the plaques superbly and the gold lettering just adds to it.

I never ever thought I would get to this stage, acquiring all three plaques and getting them together on a marble base.

But I never gave up, and here they are.

If I remember correctly, one came from Germany, one from Canada and the other came from the US of A.
