I agree with the Ikea display cases. I have a couple of them as well as a few shadow boxes from Micheals for some of my dagger displays. I also use Riker mounts as well as a few other display cases from Micheals.Click image for larger version.

I searched for a long time to find a couple of these cases for a reasonable price, fortunately, these two were given to me free.Click image for larger version.

    hi

some great tips here. rbminis, your display looks like a shop ! what times it open ?

My top tip is about display of visors. The one problem i found is that the visor is the weakest point and if stored incorrectly can come loose. the main way to stop this is to put it on a foam head as it also helps keeps the shape.

Now this may be just me but i find that once you get a few of these together it looks like some kind of head hunters den.

So my solution was to make my own display stand that supports the cap and protects the shape as well.

Cost per unit is 42p and it also looks like it cost less than a $1 !!

So here it is........not very exciting.......

but when a cap is place on it you cannot see the stand.
