Really not, as what we get on the images - really washed, clean soldiers, they prepeared themselfs being made pictures , even the KB will newer made a pictures with hairy soldiers...
Normal trench heroes will be very tired, stinki, hairy etc... Take a look at the enemy pictures where the soldiers is being fresh POW. That is the face of the warrior, not a brave occupant, who just ride hundreds kilometers with victorius march....
Really as I've take a part in a lot of expeditions to the battlefields- we found hundreds of the soldiers remains.... The hairs of the soldiers vary up to 15 cm's... Surely all the collectors wants to see the brave soldiers, as me myself, but it's far away from the reality... Just something near what is shown in the Steiner Iron cross movie
