Thumbs up Small collection of German awards from Australia

    Hello Everyone!,

I have just joined this forum not long ago and i can see that it is very very good. I am also a member on German Combat Awards, but this in a way is better because i like the photos of diggings and all that. Please let me introduce my self, im 22 years old, studying at the moment at Uni so my budget is not like when someone is full time employed. Iv been collecting a for a few years, first started with my mum saying, that German helmets are very expensive - she worked at a Military Disposal shop at the time - and then in the local village i got a German helmet for a good price, then had it for a while and i kept on getting all sorts of things, then this year i said no, i will keep one track and that is German combat/military awards.

I will post some photos in my next post of my collection and some individual ones as well.

    Hope you enjoy.

    regards, Les

this photo has a document but it really is the smaller photo on the bottom left, he is a KC winner and it is a period Agfa photo on the day he was awarded the KC, he went on to get the OL as well as commander of a fusilier battalion. The photo is very sharp even a unit pin on the crusher cap can be seen...
