Ultra rare Napoleonic French Officers Naval Gorget Pre 1815

....thought I would share with you this gem which arrived in my collection today !!
Its a Napoleonic period pre 1815 French Naval Officers gorget. Its in untouched condition,retaining evidence of fire gilding,and its original tassels.

Very cool piece. The only thing I have from that era is a
1813 iron cross which would have been awarded for actions
against someone wearing your Gorget.

Agreed, very nice! My uncle has a napolionic helmet, kinda roman style with the brush on top, and a chest plate. If you look at my older threads you can find it.
