Remember that french ebayer that sold these Helmets all the time,he's not on anymore and i'm truely gutted i didn't pick one up at the time, they were like £21 with zigsaw cover and rubber band, life i suppose.
With Regards Jake.
my latest display ,swiss army 1970's era alpenflage ,the trousers and jacket are from different sellers yet i feel a very good match wear and colour wise so im best pleased again as with the m71 helmet the swiss quality is just so aparent and the uniform is just so well thought through ,the jacket is load bearing and the back pack simply attaches via front hooks also there is a rubberised elbow and knee pads and other sections here and there ,some trouser variants have the waterproofing material on the inside as opposed to the outer layer as on mine im still yet to learn what the inner thigh trouser leg adjustable straps are intended for these trousers are also braced for load bearing ,i just cant fault this uniform in any way,the hood has an intergrated camo veil ,i also picked up the 1969 dated waterproof cape of which i feel is the same material as found on the knee elbow sections ,the elasticated cap i imagine would be the post 1980 camo and for display purposes ive added my ww2 period fixed entrenching tool to the pack ,the later swiss E tool was foldable
