uniform displays

Article about: Due to the constraints of my war room ive decided to keep it for headgear displays only,i havent the room for mannequins but have built a full standing display to throw my uniforms on as and

    Default uniform displays

    just to show a few uniforms i collected over the years ,firstly my swedish woollen uniform dated 1942 i was told the tunic was issued to coastal artillery the gassie still has its filter seal intact and is made by nokia more commonly associated these days with mobile phones atop sits my model 21/18 the boots are tr period officers private purchase as i dont have a suitable swedish pair as yet , next is my us erdl set a camo design that was first developed in 1948 again i have a few bits of kit missing but you get the general idea ,well thats all for now folks ,james Click image for larger version.

    thanks douglas and phil ,the lightweight frame is built from rough lumber i then fitted an old pair of work trousers and jumper tying the ends off and then filled with old rags to pack out ,all in all a pretty cheap project
