Walkwolf,Thanks.
Some tour jackets.
Thanks on the hats! The A.R.V.N Ranger beret is nice. I got it from a Duster crewman. He traded his hat for the beret. I bought all of his stuff when he brought it to the flea market. Rich A. in Pa.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
Not a much really - still have a few more helmets, insignia, etc. The two 'SOG' bowie
knives on the left are replicas of a rare type used in the Vietnam war, the larger
USN MKII style fighting knife is a Camillus, and the smaller is a Ka-Bar which
was available to soldiers through PX's. The USAF wings are mostly from
the 1960's and 70's.
For what it's worth.........

Hi Tu,
The star I need would have been for a NVA regular army soldiers pith helmet. Your pictures show several different ones. I'm not sure which one would be correct.
Thanks

Yes I have some pictures. I am not sure of where they are right now.
I moved to a new home last year and things are still a mess. I will look for them.
I was assigned to River Assault Division 112 at Dong Ha. Many of the photos are on the Cua Viet, Perfume rivers and around the base at Dong Ha. It was flat as a pancake except for the hill where the fly guys were. Have you ever been there?
My favorite memories were the bars and the boom boom girls and 33 beer. Do they still make that beer there? It made me dinky dow but I liked it.
Chopperman, I do not have my dad's coat either. I have my uncles. They are Korea vets.
Walkwolf,Still nice.
