It almost appears to be a converted pocket watch that is an intresting time piece first one I have seen like that do you have any details on the watch ie...age , maker

Because of the lack of markings, I have very little information about it. All I know for sure is that it’s Swiss made (there is a ‘Swiss made’ marking on the mechanism and a ‘brevet (Swiss cross)’ on the cover. Watch collectors have dated the mechanism to the period 1915-1920.

It’s still working fine by the way
