these hungarian buckles are most of the time recent makes that you can buy as such in the museums shops in Vienna and Budapest
In my opinion, this one has been painted feldgrau on the outside and articially oxydised to make it look original
The result is fairly convincing, as the modern buckles are extremely good replicas of the originals ( you can find austrian, two hungarian versions and bosnia herzegovin buckles with plain emblem or detachable one )
