Diversity of the DAF-Werkschar/Werktruppen buckle
Here is perhaps a "primer" of what I hope may be an interesting indication of the remarkable diversity relating to the DAF Werkschar and DAF Werktruppen buckle. In theory, this buckle was stringently controlled by the RZM.
The buckles include those manufactured from aluminium, nickle silver and steel and in theory, aluminium was the only "approved" material. There is and as can be seen, a clear diversity in relation to the cog design and also, the obverse colouring.
If anyone wishes to discuss any particular buckle then please, feel free.
Regards,
David

Hey David, cracking thread to start, IMO the DAF like the RAD is a very underated buckle in the collectors world, like you say, the variation on these is fantastic, I also think they are a nice looking buckle. Thanks for the examples David, and there are some super examples on display
