I didn't buy the buckle to resell. This is a keeper. I have only see two of these for sale and that was from the Marc V collection. He wanted a 1000 euros. I wouldn't buy one for that price but I am very happy with what I paid.

The pebbled Werkschar-buckle is quite, not to say extremely rare!!
The feature of pebbling is not told about in the "Mitteilungsblatt der Reichszeugmeisterei".
I have observed the first one actually in the mid-seventies, owned by a US buckle-collector.
It was a guaranteed original. No hanky-panky!
Later I saw one "life" in the USA and also have observed the one from Marc V. For the true
buckle-collector this version might be a dream to find!

    Kirby,
A super rare buckle and very, very seldom encountered. I owned one myself that I purchased off of ebay in the late 90's. Got it for a song as no one bid on it-at that time very few collectors had discovered ebay. My buckle went to Marc v. when I sold my collection. This may be the one Wilhelm referenced.
A great buckle and you certainly have what appears to be a super collection.

    Bill
