    Hi, I like the first two, but I must confess I have real concerns about the NSKK. I think the scabbard is repainted and the presence of a leather buffer pad under the crossguard is not something I would want to see on a dagger of this type. It has been put there to try and disguise the very bad fit of the dagger to scabbard. I would send this one back for a refund.

    I must agree with Ade about the buffer pad. Over long years of collecting, I have seen thousands of SA/NSKK daggers and none have had a buffer pad.

    Some NPEA daggers had buffer pads on but this is not a students dagger as the motto on the blade tells us,
