    You could try Isopropyl alcohol but keep it away from any laquer or paint and wooden or artificial grips, use a clean cotton rag moistened with the alcohol to wipe the blade and it drys in a few seconds!...

    Hey Chris I use denatured alcohol (methylated spirits), I find its the best stuff without leaving a nasty smell.

    I suppose any de-greasing agent is what you are looking for really so you don't trap them nasty marks,
