Article about: I have found two of these at an auction. I know most are faked , but how can I tell? they both look good or maybe too good.I have no photos, sorry. Thanks TOM

    They go off Tomorrow along with a matching numbers 38 bayo. At the asking prices I may just buy them all and hope for the best.
    Nothing like the sound of a 46 at tree top level.

    German? British? Asking prices? Sheaths? Can't really help much without some sort of info....

    German with sheathes its a whole collection. I will go and try to post pica.

    good lord, photos are a must, try to get some please so we can help you, most of the times if the asking price is dirt cheap that is also a big red flag for the items being fake.

    I am partial to blind dates......photos are definitely needed

    Auction over, I got a matching numbers 38 bayonet with frog, a dress bayonet, both german so a 1917 American bayonet all with sheathes. I am a caveman when it comes to this computer and the boy is in college so my tech support is gone. I will try to get the lady to put up some pictures when I pick up the blades. the sawbacks went very high I guess they were correct. thanks TOM
