Alot of different German blades with guards can be found with the maker under them. Nice Luftschutz! William

Actually the double edge blade on the RLB,s is found with and without the manufaturers trademark on the reverse side. I would suspect that at one time the dagger was taken apart and when put back together the blade was reversed.

I had a WKC just like that and the logo was positioned just like yours.

Some of these daggers were made with the makers mark on the obverse. Many that have this trait were hand fitted so that if you reverse the blade, the grip won't seat properly when you put it back together. I have a 2nd model EM by Spitzer with this and flipping the blade just won't work. I suggest leaving it as is, looks like a very nice dagger.

I agree. She is a work of art with nice cross grain. I am not changing a thing! The W.K.C is really dark and clean!!

    Sam,

It looks like a quality dagger & something I'd be pleased to have in my collection.
