Does anyone know what type of bayonet this is

Article about: My neibor has this bayonet that his uncle gave him about 45 years ago. He told him it was wwii german. I was just wondering if anyone can tell us anything about it. Please help

    I believe it is Norwegian, and fairly rare..........

    Yes, I believe these were used in WWII, but it may have been made earlier.
    It is for the Norwegian M1894 Krag rifle.........

    Condition is rather rough, but I have not seen one complete with
    it's original frog before.

    I think somewhere between $100 - $150 normally, but this one
    is quite rusty, which will affect value.

    It could be carefully cleaned and oiled, which will
    bring it back somewhat.

    The ones made during the occupation will have a Waffenamt on them, and should be more valuable. FP

    I like the condition of your bayonet and I wouldn´t do anything, maybe to oil the blade.

    Store it dry and left it, as it is.
