Is there documentary proof, Ade saying yes will do, that these 'bayonets' are as issued, if so to this maker in this style? I ask because about 5- 7 years ago WW1 German butcher bayonets were fetching silly money at auction. I understand that someone with access to the right machinery was taking ordinary run of the mill bayonets having them worked and low and behold another vast mark up at auction. I'm not saying theres anything wrong with this item because i don't know, but i think collectors need to be aware how easy it is to convert one.
