    Hey there,
Not long ago I moved to a new apartment and found this old knife hidden.
The last owner said I could keep it and he never noticed it.
I've been wondering what type is it (more interesting is what's the story behind it)
It looks pretty old, first time seeing that kind of a knife,
kinda bigger than what I'm used to see around here so yea..

    You guys got any idea?

Also, it has some Hebrew letters on the leather case (whatever it's called in English).
There's a letter there that's supposed to resemble the IDF. That's all I know.

It's a USMC KA-BAR combat knife , it should have a makers mark at the base of the blade .
Hard to know the age from the picture , it was designed in WWII but is still issued I believe .
Better photos would help , someone here should be able to date it then .
    Welcome to the Forum
