German Divers Knife?

Just bought this Divers Knife.

The only mark that I can see is what appears to be a badly stamped German Eagle, as can be seen in the photos.

The knife measures 15" overall and the blade 9".

Any ideas Gentlemen?

a homemade parts piece constructed with a bayonet blade which has a fake German eagle and a wooden grip.
Not ideal for a divers knife isnt it?
Just a fake "fantasy" piece... unfortunate this one has nothing to do with a genuine period one.

Since when did they put bayonet blades on Diver's knives? And this one looks like a K98 blade or something similar. A Polish concoction, or is that being unfair?

I thought it looked wrong, but I only paid £25.00 for it so not a big problem.

I'll sell it as a replica and am sure I will recover my money!
