Article about: hi, wondering if some could point me in the right direction on this knife. i am being told its german, but i got a hunch its not, looks more like american or other country. it has the markin

    hi, wondering if some could point me in the right direction on this knife. i am being told its german, but i got a hunch its not, looks more like american or other country. it has the marking of INI under a stamping of a shield with a sword in front. thanks for any help. john

    It looks like a Spanish Cetme Bayonet.

    coat of arms (crowned eagle) is definetly Spanish!!

    It's a pretty common surplus bayonet.
    I have seen them goin for as little as $20
    I would get Cetme rifle to go with it. lol.

    Yes...I also have one of these....Spanish for sure. Good for throwing around the yard! hahahaha

    Hello:
    I am sorry to say that the CETME bayoneti s very cheap due to its great abundance and its ugly appearance , but it is certainly not due to the quality of its steel, manufactured in Toledo, which is considered for hundreds of years as one of the best in the world, obviously Rob´s laughter is because of his ignorance on this precise topic.
