Post war...in English "Souvenir of Frankfurt Main" Made in Germany. The one letter opener represents a 2nd model Naval dagger..which that version of dagger was produced in 1938. I cant say much for the other opener except what I had written in post # 5. Still its more information than we had before. Regards Larry

I agree it is suprising to find English on typical German(pre war!) items , but if made for export it could make sence.Also the fact the swas was left out.
You can find it on toys for instence, as well.
The style of the boxe (i posted!)doesn't say post war to me, but more like 1930's...but no proof given up to now...
Time will tell!
I also run accidently in to the boxed mini -swords, long after I found mine.
Always looking for Belgian Congo stuff!
