Re: Need Opinions on Government Dagger...
No expert but I like what I see so far.
Better and more pics would help IMO on value.

Re: Need Opinions on Government Dagger...
Thanks for your feedback Eric. I'm not really looking for value at the moment. I'm more interested in whether or not it's authentic. Seem these are so specialized that only a few people like to comment on them. I've had it on another forum for more than 24 hours now and only one comment. Hopefully more people chime in. I'd love to snag it, but don't want to risk buying something that may not be the genuine article.

Hey, thanks Paul! I appreciate your help with this. These are always tough to call (for me) since I don't yet own one. With any luck this will be my first

Re: Need Opinions on Government Dagger...
It's no sweat. These Eickhorns are desirable as they are rarer than the Alcoso.
One comment i'll make is that as of late it seems like everyone has to disect every dagger they get. This is one dagger IMHO you shouldn't. They just never seem to go back together as nice. Finding a virgin GO is rare, mind you finding any virgin dagger anymore is rare!! . Look at the 3rd pic up from the bottom. See the gap at the top where the head, mother of pearl and the front plate come together? That's what happens when these are not reassembled with care.
A small trick on this dagger is to look at where three parts come together. That's where the quality comes in.
Get more opinions but that's what I see.
Good luck with it!
Paul

So many of these threads..'i'm going for it, will let you guys know...' Then ...nothing. No Follow-up.
I almost expect now every time.
OK, Dzyner, -what happened ?
Was it held together by Super-Glue ?
