    Hi Forum,

a few weeks ago i bought this (and some other knifes/daggers) from a friend for a few , it was found in water..
Can you help me to identify which Dagger this is? I only know it's from C.E, Carl Eickhorn.

And maybe someone on you have a tip to keep that silver coating..? And get rid of that rust

Thank you for your answers, have a good day!

To me a WW1 area sawback dress bayonet, looking at the plated blade.
I would not use WD40 for to long as its know to crawl underneath the plating causing more plate lifting.

Here a picture of one in good condition.
    Cheers

Quite a relic. The Eickhorn trademark you show (back to back squirrels) was used between 1906 and 1921, but I agree most likely pre-1918.
