RAD HAUER Alcoso

Hi guys. My knowledge in german daggers is actually SA NSKK and SS daggers but a fellow collector wants to sell one of his daggers. It is an super nice RAD Hauer . I have no knowledge from this stuff but I trust the man at his word, also my feeling was good when I had the dagger in hands.
I think It is a nice addition to my collection its something different and he was to attractive to pass up

Please let me know what you guys think about this one.

Not in my main areas either, it is a nice looking RAD. Although the grip screws seem to have been removed at some point which for me in hand would lead to a more critical examination. I also found interesting the faux Luger air pistol which is not something that you see every day (or at least where I'm at). Best Regards, Fred

Hi Raf,

as i said before the dagger itself is in great condition, although i prefer the ones with the RAD triangle acceptance stamp.
As Alcoso was banned in 1936 partywise because Coppel was a jew you will not likely will find one with it.

I like the sound when you put it back into its scabbard, just like cocking a rifle...
