I do not currently have a RAD Hewer in my collection and I'm hoping this could be the one. I have done some research on these and my concern is in regards to the 337 under the Krebs marking. I have seen many examples with the three digits on the cross guard. Any thoughts on this one guys?

Is the 337 a unit marking? usually reserved for the hilt and scabbard throat but got thrown onto the blade for this one?

Late reply, but 337 means manufactured March 1937.
