Looks nice , never seen a portepee to the DRK hewer before. Would you please be so kind as to share better pictures of it?

Very nice PDL made hewer you have there. As for the portepee it is believed that they are added after the war to increase the value since there has never been pictures found of them period or any regulations found with them mentioned. The blue ones on officers are thought to be prewar Bavarian officers portepee.
